For our project, we selected a handful of tales to compare in Russian and English. Unfortunately, since the English translation is copyrighted, we can only host the original Russian tales in full from Afans'ev's collection. However, the most significant aspects of the English texts can still be accessed by mousing over in the tales! Give it a try to see how certain language has been dealt with by the translator, as well as its actual translation.
